Queue Dodge program


Riot Games is an American gaming company founded in 2006 that specializes in video game publishing and esports tournaments. Riot is known for its flagship League of Legends, taking loosely organized events that were initially created mainly by fans and turning them into a professional league of divisions and tiers.


WHAT IS THIS HR INNOVATION ABOUT?

This program offered new hires cash to quit if they don't feel like they fit the company: Any new hire can elect to "Queue Dodge" at any time during their first six months & Those who elect to Queue Dodge are paid 10% of their annual salary, up to $25,000.


WHY WAS THIS INNOVATION IMPLEMENTED?

It was implemented to ensure a great fit with the company’s values but not to actively push people out or dare them to leave. It provides a well-lit, safe exit path.

Riot Games designed Queue Dodge to "help self-identified mismatches move on in an open, positive, and constructive way".


WHAT ARE ITS MAIN BENEFITS
