Introduced by the HR Director in 2007, EmployeeStorm is a social media platform, which culls ideas from all of its business units and fosters discussion among employees.
EmployeeStorm allows Dell’s worldwide community of more than 80,000 employees to post and discuss ideas on topics ranging from product upgrades and innovation to critiques of company policies, facilities improvements and benefits.
WHY WAS THIS INNOVATION IMPLEMENTED?
Because they were going to launch this innovation externally for customers, so they decided to test it on employees first.
